Costs The machines are fitted with card readers that display the cost per cycle. The machines are operated by "Smart Cards." Cards can be obtained at the front desk during business hours for $5. To protect the card, users can also purchase a plastic protective cover for $2 at the front desk.
Common ProblemsWhen clothes do not dry in 30 minutes it is often due to overloading of both the washer and the dryer and to the use of excess soap in the wash. The front-load high efficiency machines use 1/2 the usual amount of soap unless it is soap specifically designed for high-efficiency machines.
Trouble ReportingIf you have difficulty with a machine, please report it to FMB Laundry Management Company at 1-800-832-6193 referencing machine number.
